Originally founded by Nat Daniel, Danelectro has been building guitars since 1947.  Danelectro provided OEM guitars to Sears, Montgomery Ward under various names include Silvertone and Airline.  Now, Danelectro provides cool, retro looking guitars at affordable prices.  Danelectro was the first to produce the 12 string electric guitar and the baritone electric guitar.
